Really was looking for a nice not to expensive watch. I had owned Bulova brand in the pass and was looking to buy another Bulova Brand without breaking the bank. Read the reviews and study the photo of the watch everyday until I decided to take the leap and purchase the lovely watch. The watch arrived in Two (2) days and the packing was very sturdy & secure. 2 Stars To dream the “impossible watch, to go where your mind can’t follow”
I received this watch in November and here it is almost the middle of Dec. and I still cannot get the correct time setting . I’ve tries to set the hour/min in digital and its just not happening. I’m not dumb woman at all….at least I didn’t think so until this watch came along. I should have sent it back but I kept trying to find someone who could adjust it for me. Alas to no avail.

I don’t understand why a watch manufacturer needs to have such complicated instructions. This watch is not a wonder of engineering so why so hard to set the time.

I would not advise anyone to buy this product. The ironic thing is that I’ve always been the “go to” person to figure something out, to “fix” something or just be the person you would go to with a problem. I know I’m older now but I didn’t think all my brains left me.

Although it looks like mainly silver metal, it really is more white plastic than metal. The watch is lightweight and durable. It is hard to read the analog readings because they are in silver and on a white background. Adjusting the size of the watch is easy, but you have to take a silver link and a plastic link out at the same time, loosing over 1/2 an inch each time. The watch looks nice, but still can handle rough daily wear. Would probably buy again.

5 Stars Great watch!
This watch is perfect if you just want something basic that has a timer, alarm/date stamp and indiglo light (it has several other features/functions too). It looks nice too; nothing fancy, but doesn’t look cheap. Plus, the best feature is the wrist band, which is a “fast wrap” fabric band–much more sturdy & practical than a “buckle” type and/or plastic band. This was a gift for my husband, and he loves it.

5 Stars Perfect
This simple and inexpensive model is perfect. I am wearing them for 2 years and see no cons at all.

And pros are:

- Smaller and lighter than most other models

- Have reflective screen

- Have “intuitive interface” with tips - the only watch of this kind that could be easily adjusted without the manual.

I don’t use stopwatch and other features anyway.

It’s inexpensive, durable, and I like the continuously adjustable and easily cleanable fabric wristband. It’s not elegant, but it will serve you well anywhere you don’t wear a tie.

Second purchase. Comfortable to wear, large numbers can be seen without bifocals. Crystal will scratch so I covered this one with clear packing tape and trimmed it to fit. If you leave it in a cold car, it will have to warm up before it can keep correct time. There is a smaller version that looks almost identical. I bought the smaller one at Wally World and had to go home and compare sizes. It went back.

5 Stars Great, simple watch…
All I wanted was a digital watch that had a few functions (timer, alarms, 2 time zones), was no-fuss (the velcro “FastWrap” strap is a cinch), and was something I didn’t worry about banging against a rock or getting wet when I was outdoors. This watch has been through a lot and “keeps on ticking!” One small note - the strap can get a bit “funky” after wearing it for a few weeks/months, but I just scrub with some dish soap and an old toothbrush, let it air dry overnight, and problem solved! Oh, and BTW, this is my second watch of the same model - the first lasted over 5 years of banging, smacking and soaking…

5 Stars Timex Ironman Watch velcro strap
You should expect a digital watch to keep very accurate time, have a lot of features, such as alarm, countdown timer, and stop watch, and this watch meets all expectations. The night time light feature (Indiglo?), in addition, works better than any watch I’ve ever had. It’s very easy to read in the dark and looks cool. The velcro strap is also very comfortable and hopefully will last longer than the rubber/plastic straps, that always seem to break before the battery wears out.

Buyer beware - item misrepresentation!!

The watch you see is not what you get! I received a similar Timex Ironman Triathlon watch, but it DOES NOT have the FLIX feature that the image shows. If that is a feature you want, like I do, do not order this watch.

I had to contact Customer Service to process my return and now I am back to square one. On the bright side, I checked at Walmart and Target and both have the Ironman Triathlon watch with the FLIX feature for about the same price. I am going to one of the stores and I will be able to see what I am actually buying before dishing out the dough. What a concept!!

Ive owned quite a few of the Ironmans from Timex and I have to say that this is one of the best.

The band is very comfortable and the base curve of the watch and band secures fits perfectly. Even easier to use than previous generations as well.

5 Stars Cheaper everywhere else!!!!!
Love the product but you can find these watches for $79 new at Finish Line, Macy’s, or look it up on the web “Baby G Shock”. Don’t know why it is $24 more here plus Finish Line offers free shipping. Do your research and don’t pay more if you don’t have to.

4 Stars Be careful if you wear dark denim.
I love this watch. I’ve worn it three or four times a week for months. I love the home/travel time zone settings, the fact that it can be submerged in water, and daylight savings time can be turned on and off. It’s unfortunate that the alarm is short and relatively quiet — I wouldn’t rely on it to wake me up in the morning — but used during the daytime as a reminder it works fine for me.

But here’s the big problem. I frequently wear very dark denim jeans, and the indigo dye from the jeans has slowly (we’re talking twelve weeks here) leeched onto the watch casing. The dye has given it a sickly green cast, especially near the clasp and on the non-shiny band holder. I recently cleaned it with nail polish remover which restored most of the color, but it still looks greener than new. It’s my understanding that harsh liquids like nail polish remover will slowly eat away at the band, so that will slowly degrade the watch casing in its own way.

I use the watch enough to buy a second one, but I’ll be making sure that one doesn’t see much contact with dark denim!

i am a 19 year old female. i purchased this watch for nursing school bc i liked that it has all the numbers, dashes for seconds and a second hand. warning to buyers that think this is a boys watch bc it most defiantly is not. the nike swoosh and numbers are pink. anyone worried about size i have about a 6 and a 1/2 inch wrist and it fits my wrist just fine. the quality and comfort of the watch is fab…but i am worried about scratching the face of it due to the fact that the glass is raised above the edges so it is susceptible to scratching although i wore it all week and there are no scratches on it yet. overall for the price i paid 14.95…i think it was well worth it and i do love the looks of it.

4 Stars Not only for kids (as described)
My wife and I got these for the coaches of our kids. We gave it to them this morning and they were very happy with them, we even got additional thank you text messages from them. This is a great watch for kids who don’t prefer a digital read-out, but for ladies as well. Just take note that the Nike swoosh and the numbers are in pink. You have to look closely at the picture posted in Amazon to see this.

5 Stars the perfect size
I bought it for my wife, although it is target for kids, it fits perfectly in her wrist, and could be “2 wrist holes” bigger that will still fits, but for a man (not kid)it is small. As it is a Nike watch is very well done, very beautifull and she uses to swim with it, until now, no problems.

I also received a black and pink watch for my son’s birthday and am sending it back. After contacting the seller they advised me that the misrepresentative picture is not their fault and that Amazon should change it.

I bought this watch for myself. I was concerned at first that it wasn’t going to fit but I have small wrists and it fits perfectly. I like it because the numbers are big and I can get it wet when I wash my hands. It’s a great buy! I’m sure it will last me for a long time.

This watch looks downright cheap! Crystals only add to the cheap look. And I could not figure out how to set the 3 features or remove a link, even though both are supposed to be easy. Sent it back and got the Lucien Picard blue sapphire watch, which I love!
