5 Stars Perfect in form, function, and simplicity
I bought this as a gift, and also have a men’s version. I was attracted by the eco-drive which has, after three months, performed flawlessly. The design of the watch is simple and beautiful, and keeps good time. The strap is of good quality and comfortable. I have not yet had to “deliberately” charge it - the simple act of wearing it nearly everyday has kept the charge at a good level. I am anxious to see how long the eco-drive system lasts. I’d say I’d buy another, but there’s no need since the one I have is so nice…

Odered this watch as a Christmas gift for my wife. When she opened it up there was a totally different watch in the box. She didn’t like the one that was in the box…not her style. Checked both the lable on the box and the shipping docs…they both said it was the correct watch - which it wasn’t.

This is nice, basic watch which never needs batteries thanks to its clever solar recharging system (don’t worry, it works just fine without seeing daylight for weeks). It has an easy-set date function so it doesn’t annoy right out of the box. A clear face and tidy design make it easy to live with every day.

I have looked for a while to replace a Timex that looks similar to this watch. After many years of use and replacement batteries, the Timex broke down and I decided to invest more money on a watch whose technology that doesn’t require a watch battery. It’s working out well. My next watch might be another Citizen Eco-Drive.
