Classically styled and updated with the latest Timex timekeeping technology, the silver-tone Timex T29271 stainless steel women’s watch makes a great accent to both your everyday and business wear. It features a round silver watch case that frames a white dial background with black Arabic numerals and silver hands (with seconds hand). The stainless steel bracelet band features trident shaped links in silver tones, and it’s joined by a fold-over push-button clasp. This watch also features a 10-year battery life, water resistance to 50 meters (165 feet), and a date display at 3 o’clock. With the Quick Date function, you can set the date on the watch without turning the crown for every 24-hour period. Just pull the stem halfway out, and turn until desired date is reached.
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer.

3 Stars Nice watch but problems with the band
While this is a nice watch, the design of the band makes it very difficult to adjust it to a smaller size. This appears to be a design problem with the new Timex bands of this type.

I like the watch. I mean it’s a watch. Simple. Clean. Readable (except for the date which I can’t read even with my glasses on but didn’t really expect I would.)
But…
You knew it was coming, right? I am always glancing at the time and asking myself “What time is it!?” For some reason the stem on this watch is getting pulled out all the time, thus stopping the watch. I have no idea how this is happening. Believe me, I have worn watches before and this has never happened until now. I don’t get it. The stem is not loose. I never notice it happening in the moment. 1 Stars I bought two-and neither worked!
This was really a disappoinment because I love the look of this watch, and it seems so well-made. The first one started running sporadically after about a month and a half, then, it died. I’d had the battery tested, and it was fine. Amazon told me it was too late to return it but that I should contact Timex. That was two months ago and I still haven’t heard back. I liked the watch so much that I decided to try another one, and the second only worked a couple of days before doing the same thing. Well, that one did go back to Amazon in time. If I thought I’d have any better luck, I’d try for one more because it really is a pretty piece.
5 Stars Wonderful watch
I just received this watch after hesitating about buying a watch from the internet. I love it, and the price is amazing-much cheaper than anywhere else I have seen it. I too am a nurse, like the other reviewers, and this watch is perfect and it suits my needs. The watch is extremely difficult to size, so I called around and guess what, Target will size it for FREE!! (unlike the 5-10 dollars others will charge you).
